Athawale Ramdas Bandu(Marathi:रामदास बंडू आठवले) (born 25 December 1959) was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Pandharpur constituency of Maharashtra and is the antionant president of the Republican Party of India (Athawale) political party.He also repesented Mumbai North central in 12th Lok Sabha during 1998-99.He left alliance with NCP-Congress in 2011 after having lost 2009 general election.Though he politically separated from NCP,he continued being friend with Sharad Pawar.Ramdas Athavale has his own speaking style. He is fond of writing poems.Sometimes he writes Shero-Shayari.Athavale led RPI party joined Shivsena-BJP alliance in 2011 and will contest coming BMC Municipal Corporation elections together.
Ramdas Athavale has some interests with film industry.He also has made a couple of cameo apperance in films like Joshi ki Kamble , Annyayacha Partikar
